The Townhall offices in Washington D.C. have just been rocked by an earthquake. The shaking occurred for about 15 seconds. The epicenter occurred two hours away or 97 miles from here and has been measured at a 5.9. This size is strong even for quakes that occur in California where quakes are prevalent. Earthquakes on the East Coast are rare and usually very small.
The upside, we thought we were getting bombed, thankfully, it was just an earthquake. Federal offices are being evacuated and cell phone service is down.
