Apology Accepted: Bachmann Directly Contacted by Wallace

Over the weekend, host of Fox News Sunday Chris Wallace asked GOP Presidential candidate Michele Bachmann if she was a "flake." Wallace received heavy viewer backlash for his question and issued a video apology to his viewers, not Bachmann, over the controversy.

Last night, Wallace contacted Bachmann directly to apologize and she gladly accepted.

It was wise and appropriate for Bachmann to wait for direct contact from Wallace before accepting an apology. Once again, his first video apology was directed toward his viewers, making cries from the media for her to accept an apology issued (that wasn't even directed at her in the first place) before the phone call with Wallace premature.
