President Donald Trump defended his executive order on immigration during a meeting with local and state sheriffs at the White House Tuesday morning.
He took a few questions from the media during the meeting, arguing his decision to suspend immigration from seven countries throughout the Middle East.
"ISIS said, 'We are going to infiltrate the United States and other countries through the migration,'" Trump said. "And then we're not allowed to be tough on the people coming in? Explain that one."
