PALM BEACH, Fla. — A small group of supporters rallied near former President Donald Trump's winter home at Mar-a-Lago on Tuesday as the nation waits to see if Trump will be indicted and arrested at the behest of Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg over hush money payments made to Stormy Daniels for an alleged affair.
The gathering had all the hallmarks of a Trump rally: flags, country music, and people decked out in red, white, and blue. The protest was peaceful. Most of the drivers coming and going from Palm Beach honked their horns in support, but I did notice one man in a Tesla raise his middle finger at the group while driving by.
Townhall's interviews with some of the attendees about their thoughts on Florida Governor Ron DeSantis' statement about the situation can be found here.
As it currently stands, it looks as though Trump will not be indicted today, as the grand jury has scheduled another witness to testify tomorrow. If an indictment does come, it will likely be early next week.
