Watch This Explanation of Quantitative Easing

This video has almost convinced me that quantitative easing has the possibility of destroying the earth with force only rivaled by the wrath of the Almighty. Alas, there are other perspectives to consider (warning: firewalls and explicit language abound in those links) and without an advanced economics degree and / or crystal ball, I'm unable to come out definitively on one side or the other.
