Obama's Campaign Manager: We're Desperate

Signing up for Barack Obama's campaign emails through Organizing for America has been one of the best things I've ever done. Via OfA, I've gotten a full taste of just how desperate Democrats have become -- and this week's email is no exception.

Jeremy Bird, the deputy director for Organizing for America, send out this plea:
This is a critically important election for the fate of health reform, for our work to curb Wall Street abuses, and for so much more.

With this election being held at an unusual time, we need to make sure Massachusetts voters know when and where to vote -- and how important electing Martha Coakley is to the entire country.
Ah, yes. Martha Coakley is important to the entire country -- not the other 40 Republicans (soon, possibly, to be 41) who are kicking your health care plan to the curb. Martha Coakley is the one I'd turn to for "curbing Wall Street abuses." And Martha Coakley is the gal who is important to "so much more" -- as long as that's code for "advancing Barack Obama's agenda."
