New Poll: Brown Up By 4 Points Over Coakley

A Suffolk University / 7 News poll of likely Massachusetts voters has Republican Scott Brown with 50 percent of the vote over Democrat Attorney General Martha Coakley's 46 percent. That lead was unfathomable as little as one week ago. Here's David Paleologos, director of the Suffolk University Political Research Center:

Although the results show a race within the statistical margin of error, Scott Brown has surged dramatically. He is attracting independent support by a wide margin and even winning some Democrats who won’t vote the party line this time.
