A new article has the latest juicy nugget from our esteemed Majority Leader. In an upcoming New York Times magazine piece, Reid's aide claims that he was so incensed over Lieberman's lack of support on the health care issue that he said Lieberman "

double crossed" him. Even more outrageous, as result of said "double crossing," Reid was willing to scrap the whole health care bill in its entirety! From the piece:

He double-crossed me. ... Let’s not do what he wants. Let the bill just go down.

Well... it wouldn't be the first time he put policy behind politics.
