Polling In New Jersey

The Fairleigh Dickinson University poll conducted Sept. 28 - Oct. 5 pegs Chris Christie in a dead heat with Jon "The Most Corrupt Governor In History" Corzine, with the latter receiving 44 percent of the vote to Christie's 43 percent. With the margin of error, it's very much a toss up....

...until you look at the Suffolk University Poll, which puts Corzine ahead of Christie by nine points, with Corzine at 42 percent and Christie at 33.

President Obama has been stumping for Christie in recent weeks, but even with the Prez's newfound support, David Paleologos, director of the Political Research Center at Suffolk University in Boston, said the comeback "will be an amazing" one if Corzine pulls it off. Recall that Corzine was running above-50 percent disapproval in New Jersey this time last year.
