actually scheduled a meeting for them -- they just wanted the constituents to come by and drop off promotional material in favor of health insurance reform. Misleading? Not according to DNC spokesman Brad Woodhouse.
We sent a guide instructing people to call ahead and made it clear this was not a meeting — but a visit.
Ahh... the old meeting versus visit trick! That's a sure way to rally support from otherwise unwilling participants.
