Here are a few highlights from the report:
- 34 agencies have similar or overlapping objectives
- 47 areas that could be targeted for reduced operating costs (e.g. targeting "improper federal payments")
- 44 federal training programs that overlap
- duplications in programs aimed at boosting ethanol production
