Making a choice is an affirmative action, whether one decides to do something or not do something.”Now thinking can be regulated? Conservatives have argued for a long time that if Congress can compel people to buy health insurance, there isn't much they can't do. Now it sounds like liberals are saying the same thing. Congress can regulate anything they see fit, goes the argument, so long as it can be shoe-horned into the 'interstate commerce' label. The only difference is that liberals seem to think that this is a good thing.
