Five members of an Israeli family including a baby were murdered in their beds in a West Bank settlement in an attack blamed on Palestinians, sparking a huge manhunt and international condemnation.Media reports said a baby girl of three months, two children aged three and 11, and their parents Ehud and Ruth Vogel were all stabbed to death in the Friday night attack in Itamar near the Palestinian town of Nablus.
In front of the Vogel home, settlers lit candles on Saturday night in memory of their slain neighbours.
According to an unverified report, Fatah's military wing – the al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades – claimed responsibility for the attack. A group spokesman told a Palestinian news agency that a terror cell infiltrated the settlement of Itamar and committed the attack.

Gaza residents from the southern city of Rafah hit the streets Saturday to celebrate the terror attack in the West Bank settlement of Itamar where five family members were murdered in their sleep, including three children.
Residents handed out candy and sweets, one resident saying the joy "is a natural response to the harm settlers inflict on the Palestinian residents in the West Bank."

UPDATE: Hamas -- the terrorist group that controls Gaza -- denies responsibility for the murders in the English-speaking media, while cheering the demise of "five Zionist usurpers" on its Arabic language website. Pure duplicity.

A member of the al-Aqsa Brigades attacked a house in the Itamar settlement, South of Nablus, the group said in a statement on Saturday.
He managed to kill all the five Zionists who were in the house on Saturday morning, the statement added, mentioning that the Palestinian combatant has returned home safely after conducting his mission successfully.
The operation was a natural response to the crimes of the Zionist regime against the Palestinian people in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, the statement added.
The IDF seized a freighter ship with dozens of tons of weaponry from Iran headed for Hamas in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday.
The Victoria was boarded by commandos from the Israeli Navy's Flotilla 13, also known as the Shayetet, arrived in the Ashdod port on Tuesday evening.
An initial inspection of the cargo revealed the ship was carrying weapons. The exact amount is to be determined.
