New McCain Ad Hits All The Right Notes

Sure, this race is all but over, but Maverick isn't taking any chances:

The cutaways to stock footage of Obama and Biden smiling widely and applauding Rodney Glassman's doctrinaire Lefty pronouncements are fantastic, but the shattering glasses are what finally got me.

As Allahpundit laments, it's a shame McCain couldn't bring himself to go for the jugular like this against The One in 2008.  Unfortunately for Glassman (and J.D. Hayworth, for that matter) Mac's restraint appears to be a thing of the past.

Another recent victim of McCain's newfound pugnacity?  Senator M'am:

Calling his colleague Sen. Barbara Boxer , D-Calif ., the most partisan and anti-military member of the U.S. Senate , Sen. John McCain , R-Ariz., gave a rousing endorsement of Republican Senate candidate Carly Fiorina at a veteran-themed rally in San Diego Saturday morning.

“When you hear her say that she supports the men and women in the military, my friends, she does not because she has never supported a mission, she has never supported victory, whether it be in Iraq or whether it be in Afghanistan ,” McCain said.

...

"[Working with Boxer] has been an unpleasant experience because Barbara Boxer personalizes the political discourse that we have and that's why she's had so very little effect of any kind in the political process," the Arizona Republican told Terry Moran of ABC News' "Nightline" in an exclusive interview after the campaign event. "There is no Republican that will work with her."

Ouch.
