Christine O'Donnell's First Ad: "I'm Not a Witch"

Soft lighting, soft music, soft sell:

The "I'm you" tagline is obviously an attempt to begin cleansing the stigma created by the various factual attacks and unfair caricatures that have besieged her campaign since the primary.  In that sense, the ad could be fairly effective because I'd imagine O'Donnell's direct approach will strike many voters as appealing and reassuring.

Still, Politics 101 suggests that a candidate is waging a steep, uphill battle when her ad gurus find it necessary to kick-off her very first TV commercial with the words "I'm not a witch."

For those who donated to her campaign (and there were many of you), are you pleased with the ad?
