As a fun exercise, what would be a comparable stance on the right? Say, giving a universal human right for...wait for it...babies in the womb. The outrage!

Ideology carries core beliefs. The belief in man's equivalent value to animals and nature--not to mention Big Government--are at the core of leftist thinking. I appreciate these loony issues being pushed into the public debate for all Americans to see. And not that far in the distance you will see the President of the United States.
