Obama Hitting New Lows in Polling

Rasmussen Reports confirmed an uncomfortable trend for the president today, showing his monthly approval index hit -17.The polling company said Obama's current trend of -16 or -17 in the past four months is the

lowest yet on record for this president.

This comes after another poll released Friday showed the number of those in the U.S. who identify themselves as Democrats fell to a record low for the second straight month.

Maybe Obama's tanking numbers are the real October surprise. Who would have predicted it Januaray 2009?
