Tucker Asks DACA Recipient What Right He Has to Threaten Our Lawmakers

Fox News’s Tucker Carlson brought an undocumented immigrant and DACA recipient on his show Monday to confront him about Dreamers’s apparent “lack of gratitude” toward the country that is letting them live here illegally and still receive benefits.

What’s with the hostility from DACA recipients, Carlson asked his guest Ivan Ceja, considering they are getting such a “good deal” from the United States?

Ceja said DACA beneficiaries like him are simply reacting to lawmakers who continue to talk about them, instead of with them.

“Both parties will be held accountable,” he said.

Ceja’s threat was given wings Monday when House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was shouted down by DACA recipients who accused her of making deals behind their backs. She insisted she was working to end deportations, but they refused to let her speak, even calling her a “liar!” Clearly, they are just as mad at Democrats as President Trump for allowing the DACA program to be suspended in the next six months.

Carlson was astounded that Ceja and other illegal immigrants like him are demanding the U.S. be nice to them. After all, they are here illegally. They don't exactly have the same say as naturalized and natural born citizens.

“We take great part in our community and ask to be represented,” Ceja returned, adding that he and other Dreamers are paying taxes and contributing to society.

Again, Carlson didn’t appreciate the tone. “Why do you have the right to demand anything?”

He offered Ceja one last piece of advice: “Learn how to follow a rational train of thought.”
