NBC Refused to Share Trump’s 'Unconfirmed' London Tweet...Then Backtracked

Over the weekend, President Trump had seemingly determined early on that the unfolding incidents in London, which left at least seven dead and almost 50 more injured, were terror-related. He retweeted a Drudge Report tweet that read, “Fears of new terror attack after van ‘mows down 20 people’ on London Bridge. Yet, because the authorities had not confirmed the attack as terrorism, NBC Nightly News tweeted the following message, refusing to acknowledge the president's assumption.

Social media users quickly pointed out NBC’s hypocrisy, as the network appeared to have no problem reporting on this misleading story.

As we now know, Trump’s retweet turned out to be 100 percent correct. The Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the carnage.

NBC was better late than never.

In light of the latest attacks, Trump has urged the courts to uphold his travel ban.
