Monica Crowley Parts Ways With Fox to Join Trump Admin

Fox News personality Monica Crowley is joining the Trump administration as deputy national security advisor, according to multiple media reports.

Crowley worked as a foreign policy assistant to former President Richard Nixon from 1990 to 1994. She joined Fox News as a contributor in 1998 and has hosted a radio show since 2002. She offered the following statement about her newest role.

"I am deeply honored, humbled and grateful to be asked by the president-elect to join the extraordinary national security team he is assembling," Crowley said. "With vision, courage and moral clarity, he is committed fully to re-establishing America's singular place in the world. He is also committed to selecting the best people for the jobs of keeping the American people safe and the country secure. It will be a great privilege to serve with them."

Crowley has ended her contract with Fox as she prepares to report to President Trump.
