Sasha Obama isn't the adorable seven year-old girl we met in 2008: she's all grown up now and working her first summer job at Nancy's, a seafood restaurant on Martha's Vineyard. To stay slightly undercover, she's using her full name, Natasha, instead of her nickname.
The Obama family has been known to frequent Nancy's, and the Obamas are friends with the restaurant's owner. Sasha has been working morning shifts prepping the restaurant to open and has also been working the cash register. She'll only be working there for a few more days.

Nancy’s is a favorite stop for the First Family, who always pop in for a seafood feed when they are on their annual Martha’s Vineyard vacation. The Obamas reportedly are friends with Nancy’s owner Joe Moujabber, which is how Sasha scored her summer gig.
The Obamas’ youngest daughter has been working an early four-hour shift at the busy, 350-seat restaurant, finishing up just a half hour after it opens for business at 11:30 a.m. Word is, she will only be working until Saturday when her parents arrive for their two-week vacation.
“She’s been around for a few days,” one of the girls working the takeout window told us yesterday. “It’s pretty random.”

Although this is definitely a temporary work arrangement, good on the Obamas for ensuring that their kids don't grow up entirely in a bubble and allowing them to have somewhat of a normal summer job experience. A seafood restaurant is about as far from the White House as a person can get, and this will probably be a good change of pace from D.C.
Maine's First Lady Ann LePage is also earning some extra money in a seafood restaurant this summer.
