Husband of Woman Killed in Paris Attacks Records Message to Terrorists

Antoine Leiris' wife Helene was killed on Friday in the terrorist attacks in Paris. Antoine penned a Facebook post about the attack, and his feelings about the perpetrators, that has since gone viral. In it, Leiris explains that he will not give the terrorists the satisfaction of being hated, and that his son, who is only 17 months old, will not hate them either.

Check out a video of Leiris reading the post, from the BBC:

“I won’t give you the gift of hating you” – Antoine Leiris’ powerful tribute to his wife, who died in the Bataclan during the #ParisAttacks

'I will not give you the gift of hating you' is an incredibly powerful message. ISIS wants to be hated and to incite terror. Living normally and refusing to give them what they want is one way to ensure that they never win.
