It's reported by ChArlie Spiering in the Washington Examiner that the President has cancelled the White House Halloween celebration for local and military children, presumably because of Hurricane Sandy. (http://washingtonexaminer.com/obama-cancels-halloween-at-the-white-house/article/2512199)

So let's get this straight: The President will deprive children of a Halloween party because of a hurricane, but the Commander-in-Chief wouldn't deprive himself of a glitzy Vegas fundraiser even after a terrorist attack that killed the first American ambassador in thirty years.
