A Historic Night

Paul Ryan is not just brilliant -- he is immensely likable.  Both qualities were on full display tonight.  His indictment of the President was respectful but pointed -- and lethal. His full-throated defense of freedom as a natural right and a gift from God, his unashamed celebration of success, coupled with a little humor and a great deal of heart was a complete winner.

He is a political star, and whatever happens, Mitt Romney has done all Americans an enormous service by bringing him to the top tier of our politics

Between his speech and Secretary Rice's, it was quite a fabulous night at the RNC.
