The Daily Caller has published some messages from Rebecca Mansour, Sarah Palin's domestic policy advisor and online "presence," to a supposed supporter.  The communications contain information or opinions that might best be described as "indiscreet."

The fact that someone has been shopping these emails for some time according to Politico's Ben Smith) isn't just a cautionary tale for political advisors.  It's also an illustration of the unique challenges that would confront a Palin presidential campaign.  For many on the left, the chance to embarrass or damage Palin represents the "holy grail" of political activism.
