Newt Gingrich has laid out twelve ideas that would create jobs and stimulate the economy more effectively than handing out a grab bag of gifts to Democrat special interest groups.

The principles allow the American people, rather than the government, to serve as the engine of our economy.

This is a piece that every Republican congressman and -woman should read. It lays out clearly and concisely what the GOP is (or should be) "for" -- now that it's clear that Republicans oppose the wasteful big spending so evident in the "stimulus" package.
