On Friday, news broke that Hillary Clinton called Tulsi Gabbard a "Russian asset," and Hillary believes the Russians are now grooming Gabbard to run as a third-party candidate in 2020. Hillary also said that Jill Stein, the Green Party's nominee for President in 2016, was similarly a Russian asset who was responsible for Hillary's loss to President Trump.

Stein responded during an interview on CNN, characterizing Clinton's accusations as "a completely unhinged conspiracy theory for which there is absolutely no basis in fact." She continued, "this is a wild and insulting theory, and I think it speaks to Hillary's need to try and explain ... why her campaign was not successful."

Stein is not the only one to defend Tusli Gabbard against Clinton. One by one the Democratic candidates running for president have come to Gabbard's defense.

Beto O'Rourke told reporters that "Tulsi is not being groomed by anyone. She is her own person. Obviously has served this country, continues to serve this country in uniform, in Congress, as a candidate for the presidency, so I think those facts speak for themselves."

Gabbard is a member of the Hawaii Army National Guard and recently took two weeks off from the campaign trail for a joint-training session in Indonesia. But Hillary would have you believe that she spent the time in Russia being "groomed" by Vladimir Putin.

Earlier today, Andrew Yang also defended his fellow rival for the Democratic nomination. Yang tweeted, "Tulsi Gabbard deserves much more respect and thanks than this. She literally just got back from serving our country abroad."

Marianne Williamson didn't like the vibes she was sensing from Hillary either. Williamson tweeted, "The Democratic establishment has got to stop smearing women it finds inconvenient! The character assassination of women who don't toe the party line will backfire. Stay Strong @TulsiGabbard. You deserve respect and you have mine."

For Democrats, it's apparently not much fun when Hillary's conspiracy theories are directed towards one of their own.
