Report: Ukrainian Airplane Crashes Near Iranian Capital

According to Iranian state TV, a Ukrainian airplane carrying 180 passengers crashed near an airport in the Iranian capital of Tehran, the Associated Press reported. The airplane reportedly had mechanical issues although that has yet to be confirmed.

So far it is unclear whether or not any injuries were sustained. 

BBC reporter Ali Hashem, who Is stationed in Iran, posted the following video to Twitter of the alleged aircraft:
