Oh, Look: Hunter's Mommy Is Coming to His Defense

Former Second Lady Dr. Jill Biden went to bat for her son, Hunter, during an exclusive interview with NBC News on Monday. According to Jill, President Donald Trump wanting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky to investigate her husband, former Vice President Joe Biden, and son "is just flat-out wrong."

“What goes through your head when you hear this weekend Republicans on Capitol Hill talking about bringing your son and bringing your husband potentially to testify in an impeachment hearing and impeachment trial?” host Mike Memoli asked.

Dr. Biden argued that Republicans wanting to hear from Hunter and Joe "plays right into [Trump's] hands" and is a way of distracting American voters.

"You know, what Donald Trump did was wrong, flat-out wrong. Calling a foreign leader and asking them, you know, and holding back foreign aid unless he investigated my husband and my son, you know, that is just flat-out wrong," she explained. "And I think that the American people see that. I think the people in Congress see that. And they’re going to stand up to him.”

The former second lady said this was the first election she has seen where one politician goes after the children of another candidate.

Jill Biden may have a doctorate but she is missing one valuable tidbit here: her son was being paid $50,000 a month by a Ukrainian gas company, Burisma, despite having no natural energy experience. That just so happened to coincide with her husband, the vice president at the time, handling international relations with Ukraine on behalf of the Obama administration. And, on top of that, Burisma was trying to get the Obama administration to drop corruption charges. This group's entire behavior is swampy.

Trump didn't just launch these attacks out of nowhere. It's not like he's waging unwarranted attacks on a small child. He's literally calling out the corrupt behavior of a grown man whose life has been bankrolled by his father's political connections. His mommy going to bat for him on national TV is also a bit pathetic.
