The Senate Foreign Relations Committee voted overwhelmingly in support of Hillary Clinton to become Secretary of State 16-1.

GOP Louisiana Sen. David Vitter was the only one who voted against her.

The full Senate is expected to vote on Clinton's appointment sometime next week after the inauguration ceremonies.
