Re: Debate Camp

As a former college debator, I have been to debate camp.

There is also a old West Wing episode about presidential debate camp.

Basically, in college anyway, it's just like sports camp. Instead of practicing/lifting/studying plays all day you are on computers researching, breaking printers and doing lots of speaking exercises. My team easily killed a few forest with all the information we were reading, printing and filing away. We're talking huge storage tubs full of files.

(I'm not a total nerd, I was a college athlete in my pre-debate life. I can attest to the odd similarity.)

In the end, I preferred debate camp.
