Gawker Stands By Emails

Gawker knows Sarah Palin's emails were illegally obtained and doesn't care. They're staying up on the site they say.

According to Gawker, the emails "were saved before the account went dark, along with the contact list. It's newsworthy and we will not be taking it down!"

To me, this is like taking a stolen car for a joyride. Or spending money given to you by a thief. Even if you didn't steal the car, or the money, you're going to go to jail for using goods you know were stolen.
.
It's wrong to publish illegally obtained information. Gawker knows it's was stolen and they're standing by it, hoping to get extra clicks and make more money for their website for doing it.

I hope they have their lawyers on speed-dial.
