Chet Edwards Factoids

For some reason Chet Edwards is being floated out as a possible VP pick for Obama today. We haven't heard much about him until now.

On the off chance he does get picked, which I don't think is likely, here's some interesting factoids sure to drive the libs crazy. Edwards studied economics under Phill "nation of whiners" Gramm at Texas A&M. Edwards has also voted for drilling in ANWR, a constitutional amendment to ban same-sex marriage and to ban partial birth abortion.

This would be like McCain picking a mashup ofJoe Lieberman and Tom Ridge. It sounds like complete hooey, but I'd welcome the lefty fury if Obama does go this route.
