RE: A Private-Sector Veep for McCain?

I can see McCain going for Carly Fiorina.

She's been doing a good job for his campaign and attract all those Clintonites dying to vote for a woman. But she wouldn't make conservatives happy. She's with McCain on all the environmental stuff, from what I understand. (In fact, I'm not sure of what she disagrees with him on since most of what I've heard from her has been through the McCain campaign and she's obligated to promote his positions.)

Ebay's Meg Whitman, another blonde, corporate female, is also rumored to be a dark horse.

And, yes, I might as well open the Pandora's box of McCain's (perceived) attraction to blonde, corporate females. (His wife, Carly, Meg, ugh, Vicki Iseman). If he picks one of these gals you know the lefties will drive themselves crazy with the rumor.
