You think our country doesn't have a problem with respecting the police? Look no further than the reaction from Philadelphians at Wednesday's shooting as police officers risked their lives to stop a 36-year-old violent felon from posing threats to the public at large. A bystander recorded on video residents of the City of Brotherly Love yelling, hurling objects, and even getting into scuffles with police offers on Wednesday night.

Breaking911 shared the video via Twitter:

This occurred after a standoff between police and the aforementioned suspect which lasted more than six hours. Six police officers were wounded during their effort. As reported earlier on Townhall, Philadelphia's Police Commissioner Richard Ross Jr. said Wednesday night that it was "nothing short of a miracle that we don’t have multiple officers killed today."

Here's another angle which shows how the clash could have escalated into something much worse:

President Donald J. Trump's official campaign Twitter account commented on these videos saying, "Disgusting!"
