It was a jam-packed episode today. We’re at 70 episodes, folks. The Democrats are about to eat crap again as the Mueller report is going to be officially released. And once again, we will see there is zero evidence of collusion between the Kremlin and the Trump campaign. It’s time for the Left to move on; you’re not going to find anything that you can weaponize to impeach President Donald Trump.
As nonsense plays out, the border crisis continues to rage. We’re apprehending close to 100,000 people at the border, and that’s been a trend for the past few months. We cannot process these folks anymore. We cannot hold them, so Trump has the perfect place to relocate them: sanctuary cities. Democrats can’t say anything. Why designate yourselves havens for illegal aliens if you don’t want them to go there? Eat crap again, losers. These illegals are coming and unless you don’t want those people to go into your community, which is very, very racist—sit back and take it.
In France, the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris has been severely damaged by a fire that raged out of control for hours yesterday. The roof is gone. The nation’s billionaires have pledged $700,000,000 to rebuild it, and French President Emmanuel Macron hopes to get it done within five years. April 15 is known for being a day of bad news. We’ve had the Boston Marathon bombing, the Titanic sinking, and the death of President Abraham Lincoln occur on this day. Also, it’s tax day…BOO!
Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) has her anti-Semite defense league trying to chill speech by saying that any attacks against her, her terrorist-sympathizing rhetoric, or her anti-Semitic tropes are inciting violence against her. Nope. She’s just a trash human being with who needs to be raked over the coals. She described the 9/11 attacks as an event where “some people did something.” She’s palled around with groups who have been accused of fronting terrorism—CAIR—and her running amok shows that Nancy Pelosi has lost control of her caucus. Don’t offend anyone means tolerating the intolerable now on the Left. No one is saying Omar should be muzzled, but when she opens her mouth and gets trashed by everyone who isn’t insane like her, don’t whine about it.
As for the 2020 clown car, Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) couldn’t fill an event in Newark, Rep. Eric Swalwell (D-CA) is running on gun confiscation, South Bend Mayor Peter Buttigieg has an issue with secret police tapes that might expose racist officers in the city’s police department; he’s fought to keep them from being released, and Bernie Sanders got tongue-tied during his town hall event with Fox News last night.
.@jaketapper: “Next year, 91% of middle income Americans will receive a tax cut. Isn’t that a good thing?”@BernieSanders: “Yeah, it is a very good thing. And that’s why we should’ve made the tax cuts for the middle class permanent” #CNNSOTU https://t.co/ei8xTHGo1E— CNN Politics (@CNNPolitics) December 24, 2017
Bernie’s a millionaire; he’s benefitted from the Trump tax cuts, so why not eschew those benefits if he’s a real working class hero. And yet, in December of 2017, Sanders admitted with CNN’s Jake Tapper that the Trump tax cuts were not some giveaway to the wealthy, but a relief to the middle class. His only beef was that it didn’t go far enough. Yeah, way to move the goal posts, Bernie. Bra-vo! Here’s how Politico framed the town hall event:
Bernie Sanders entered the Fox's den on Monday night — and he not only survived the hour-long encounter, but often dominated.
Appearing at a Fox News-hosted town hall, smack in the middle of Trump Country, the Democratic presidential front-runner played the part, swatting down tough questions from the hosts about health care, defense spending and his newfound wealth. At one point, the Vermont senator even led the network’s audience in a call-and-response that found them cheering loudly for his policies.
In the days preceding the event, Sanders faced backlash from liberals who said he shouldn’t participate given the network's nativist bent and cheerleading for President Donald Trump. But when it was over, Sanders had received an hour of positive exposure on the highest-rated cable channel — something none of his primary rivals have yet risked.
The town hall took place in a cultural center in the shadows of a former steel mill here, in a Pennsylvania county that voted for Trump after twice supporting Barack Obama. But the room was packed with Sanders supporters, and the Vermont senator fed off the energy of the crowd.
Oh, stop. It’s a town hall event. It’s not a debate. If he didn’t dominate, I would be worried about his health. It’s the candidate on a soapbox for an hour. You bet Bernie dominated, any candidate would, and I would hope that event would be packed with his…supporters. It’s one town hall event. Relax.
In other news, Bill Weld, a Libertarian, Republican, and quasi-Democrat (he’s been everything), former governor of Massachusetts, decided he’s going to challenge Donald Trump and has zero chance of accumulating the money, support, or delegates to do so. We already have our candidate, and he’s the president of the United States.
An exotic bird killed a Florida man. In Culpeper County, VA, an illegal alien raped a seven-year-old. Tiger Woods won the Masters, his first in 14 years, clinching a massive comeback in the sport. And a former Marine running the Boston Marathon had his legs cramp up, but that didn’t stop him. He crawled to the finish. He was running in honor of his three buddies who he lost in an ambush while serving in Afghanistan.
