Homeowner Captures Stanley Steamer Worker Saluting Bush 41 One Last Time

President George H.W. Bush is now peacefully buried next to his wife, Barbara, at his presidential library in College Station, Texas. It caps off a week-long memorial to the 41stpresident of the United States, who was remembered, honored, and mourned after his life of public service to the country. Bush 41 passed away last weekend at the age of 94. Bush was a war hero, CIA director, vice president of the United States, president of the United States, U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations, and a congressman. He did it all.

The elder Bush was saluted by President Trump, former Sen. Bob Dole (R-KS), and countless others as he made his way to his final resting place. In Chula Vista, California, one homeowner captured a Stanley Steamer employee at her house, who was reportedly an army veteran; stop working to salute the late president whose burial ceremony was on her television (via CBS8):

A Chula Vista homeowner captured the moment a Stanley Steemer worker paused his work to salute former President George H.W. Bush during the burial ceremony on Thursday.

Bianca Padilla-Dominguez told News 8 she was sitting at her kitchen table watching the president's funeral while the Stanley Steemer worker was cleaning her carpet.

"When President Bush was exiting the church and the music began, the worker stopped, stood up straight and saluted. I froze. I was already teary eyed with the service, but that gave me a big lump in my throat," Bianca said.

The late Bush’s Secret Service detail’s assignment expired earlier this morning.
