Rumor Mill: NBC Has Interview Of Juanita Broaddrick Detailing Clinton Intimidation Over Her Rape Allegation

Juanita Broaddrick certainly has one of the most serious allegations lobbed against former President Bill Clinton, which is that he raped her. How does this relate to 2016? It’s also been alleged that Hillary Clinton intimidated Broaddrick over the allegations, as it could derail her husband’s future in politics. As the news media releases long-held tapes of Donald Trump speaking poorly about women, including graphic remarks about grabbing their genitals, NBC News reportedly has the full interview they did with Broaddrick, where she makes this accusation against Hillary. Of course, these details were edited out. What’s more is that it’s not conservative media that confirmed these edits occurred, and that the full interview should be released; it’s former Newsweek reporter Michael Isikoff.

Iskikoff was one of the journalists who reported on the Monica Lewinsky affair, says says the full interview does exists—and that it was edited as well (via Free Beacon):

Michael Isikoff, who was a leading reporter during the Monica Lewinsky scandal, said in a Thursday discussion that NBC should release a 17-year-old tape of an interview that it conducted with Broaddrick. Broaddrick has long claimed that the interview that NBC aired edited out her claim that Hillary Clinton was involved in quashing Broaddrick’s rape claims.

“NBC has the full tape of the original Lisa Myers interview,” Isikoff said during an online discussion on Sidewire.com. “NBC ought to check its archive and run the full interview. (AS long as they’re now culling their archives!)”

Isikoff worked as a national correspondent for NBC from 2010 to 2014. He says that NBC reporter Lisa Myers has confirmed Broaddrick’s claim that NBC edited out references that could have been damaging to Hillary Clinton.

“Folks have made much of the fact that her claim about the conversation she had with Hillary wasn’t in the interview that run,” Isikoff said. “Broaddrick said it got cut out; Lisa Myers has since agreed Broaddrick said this then—and NBC chose to cut it out.”

The Media Research Center, which monitors liberal media bias, also demanded that NBC release the tape:

This week we learned NBC was attempting to fix the election by strategically releasing the Donald Trump sex talk tapes in time to do maximum damage. Now, shockingly, we learn that NBC is suppressing a damning 1999 video interview with Juanita Broaddrick. This interview purportedly shows Hillary Clinton trying to intimidate Broaddrick to not talk about her rape allegations against Bill Clinton.

The indictments against NBC continue to grow. It is guilty of journalistic corruption of the highest order. If they do not release this interview unedited, they should be denounced by the entire journalism community. No one can deny that NBC is as dishonest as it is partisan. How anyone with any sense of journalism ethics can work there, I don’t know.”

The odds of this happening are slim to none. Another reason NBC held onto the Trump Access Hollywood tape, besides the fact that they wanted to release it for maximum impact this election cycle, was to scrub out then-Access Hollywood co-host Billy Bush from the recording. Bush had moved onto the Today show, where he was suspended after the tape, which has caused both him and Trump endless grief this week, was released. Bush is now negotiating an exit from the show.

It’s not good. It’s not pretty. But if the news media is going to air allegations of sexual misconduct from Donald Trump, they’re going to have to rehash the allegations that Hillary intimated women who accused her husband of equally egregious acts.
