Rep. Seth Moulton (D-Mass.) has joined the long list of Democrats who’ve entered the 2020 presidential race.
“I’m running for President to build a strong and safe country, create the jobs of the future, and elect leaders we can be proud of,” the former Marine said on Twitter Monday morning.

"I'm running because we have to beat Donald Trump, and I want us to beat Donald Trump because I love this country. We've never been a country that gets everything right. But we're a country that, at our best, thinks that we might," he said in his video announcement.
“Decades of division and corruption have broken our democracy and robbed Americans of their voice,” he added. "It's all led to an administration that's turned away from our values and is shredding our moral authority.”
In his video, Moulton discussed policy positions that included tackling climate change, growing the economy, protecting US elections, gun control, and more.
"Ask anyone who's lost their job to a changing economy or a child to opioids or has to choose between heat and food in the winter, they're feeling forgotten," he said.

“I believe in this country and because I have never wanted to sit on the sidelines when it comes to serving it,” he said. “That is why I joined that Marines, it is why I ran for Congress to try to prevent what I saw got us into Iraq from happening again, and it is why I am running to take on the most divisive president in American history to bring this country back together."
Moulton’s scheduled to visit all four early voting primary and caucus states this week. He heads to New Hampshire on Tuesday and Wednesday morning, when he’ll headline ‘Politics and Eggs,’ a must stop in the first-in-the-nation primary state for White House hopefuls. Later Wednesday, Moulton campaigns in South Carolina, which holds the first southern primary. That will be followed Thursday by stops in Iowa – which kicks off the caucus and primary calendar – as well as Nevada – which holds the first western contest. (Fox News)
The 40-year-old lawmaker was first elected to Congress in 2014. He represents Massachusetts's 6th Congressional District.

"His presidential bid is going nowhere, just like his unsuccessful business career and his repeated failed attempts to challenge the least popular politician in DC: Nancy Pelosi."
