Trump Tweets: Tax Reform, Hypocritical Chuck Schumer, Crooked Hillary, and the Economy

President Trump was busy tweeting Monday morning about a wide range of topics, from tax reform and the stock market to ‘crooked’ Hillary Clinton and Senator Minority Leader Chuck Schumer.

Trump started off talking about tax reform and how famed economist Art Laffer expressed support for his plan.

“Art Laffer just said that he doesn't know how a Democrat could vote against the big tax cut/reform bill and live with themselves!

The economist told Fox Business’s Maria Bartiromo he doesn’t “know how a Democrat can honestly vote against this bill and hold his face up high to the electorate. It just doesn’t make sense to me.”

Trump then said all Democrats want to do is “increase taxes and obstruct,” which is “all they are good at!”

Next, he slammed Schumer over his hypocrisy on the Iran deal.

“Dem Senator Schumer hated the Iran deal made by President Obama, but now that I am involved, he is OK with it. Tell that to Israel, Chuck!” Trump said.

Schumer voted in favor of a motion to disapprove of the Iran nuclear deal, which he opposed as negotiated.

But he has since offered support for keeping the deal in place, arguing that with sanctions on Iran previously imposed by the United States and its allies now lifted, it would make little sense for the U.S. to move away from the deal on its own. (The Hill)

The president then noted the stock market’s gains and commented on the U.S.’s economic situation in general.

Finally, ‘Crooked Hillary’ made an appearance in his morning tweets.

“I was recently asked if Crooked Hillary Clinton is going to run in 2020? My answer was, "I hope so!"
