First Lady's Spokeswoman Responds to 'View' Co-Host Calling Melania One of Trump's 'Mistresses'

“The View” guest co-host and actress Yvette Nicole Brown went after first lady Melania Trump Friday as ABC’s Tom Llamas previewed his exclusive interview with her that airs Friday evening.

“Is it possible that she’s not concerned with his mistresses because she was one of them?” Brown asked.

The table appeared shocked by that speculation and “The View” host Abby Huntsman changed the subject.

Llamas complimented Melania’s politeness and demeanor, which he said was similar on and off camera. He then gently rebuked Brown’s comment.

“Before we go, I do want to say something,” he said. “There was a comment made at this table today about Mrs. Trump.”

“Allegedly,” Brown interrupted.

“I just want to say whether you like her or you don’t like her, she deserves our respect because she is our First Lady,” Llamas said.

“I don’t respect her,” Brown replied.

Melania’s spokeswoman Stephanie Grisham weighed in on Brown’s comment on Twitter Friday, calling it “disgusting.”

Brown responded that she stood by “every word” she said.
