President Trump went after Oprah Winfrey Sunday evening after watching a “60 Minutes” panel she moderated with pro-and anti-Trump voters that questioned his fitness for office. Trump called the interview questions “biased and slanted, the facts incorrect” in a tweet.
Just watched a very insecure Oprah Winfrey, who at one point I knew very well, interview a panel of people on 60 Minutes. The questions were biased and slanted, the facts incorrect. Hope Oprah runs so she can be exposed and defeated just like all of the others!

During her interview checking in with voters that she’d talked to last fall in Grand Rapids, Michigan, Winfrey touched on Trump’s more controversial remarks and unflattering poll numbers.
She asked who believed “that he made the comment about, quote, 'sh*thole countries?"'
She also said that "polls are showing that respect for the United States is eroding around the world," asking, "do you care what the world thinks of the United States?"
Winfrey invited the panelists to question the president’s fitness for office as well.
"There have been some members of Congress, including Republicans, questioning his stability and fitness for office,” she said. “What do you think of that, and do you believe he has the temperament to be president?"
After Oprah gave a rousing speech at the Golden Globes in January on the #MeToo movement, many in the media fueled speculation about Oprah running for president in 2020. She has repeatedly squashed those rumors saying it’s “not in her DNA.”
Prior to his tweet Sunday, Trump has spoken well of Oprah. In 1999, he said that Oprah would be his VP pick if he ran for president, calling her a “great woman.” He said he’d love to have her as a running mate in a 2015 interview as well.
"I'll beat Oprah," Trump said in January after the speculation about an Oprah 2020 bid, but he added, "I don't think she's going to run."
