President Trump Has Made a Decision on the Iran Deal

On October 15, President Trump will officially decide whether to keep or scrap the Iranian nuclear agreement after a review about whether the regime is being faithful to obligations laid out in the deal.

At the United Nations General Assembly Wednesday morning, Trump said he has made his decision.

"I've decided, I've decided, I've decided," he said. "I’ll let you know what the decision is.”

He's apparently made a decision, but isn't telling us what it is yet.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani warned yesterday that the U.S. will "pay a high price" if President Trump chooses to pull out of the agreement, which was signed under President Obama.

"Exiting such an agreement would carry a high cost for the United States of America, and I do not believe Americans would be willing to pay such a high cost for something that will be useless for them," Rouhani told CNN.

DONALD TRUMP IRAN

During his first address to the UN on Tuesday, President Trump went after the regime and called the nuclear agreement "embarrassing."

"The Iran deal is an embarrassment to the United States," he said. "The Iranian government masks a corrupt dictatorship behind the false guise of a democracy. It has turned a wealthy country, with a rich history and culture, into an economically depleted rogue state whose chief exports are violent, bloodshed and chaos."
