15,000 Muslims Commence "Festival of Sacrifice" at Angels Baseball Park in LA

Eid al-Adha marks the end of hajj, an Islamic pilgrimage that every Muslim must embark on at some point during their lives before being accepted into paradise.  “We had two services, and many people ended up praying outside the fence because there was no room,” Nicole Bovey Alhakawati, spokeswoman for the Islamic Institute of Orange County said.

A group of protesters were seen outside the stadium but responding officers said no arrests were made.
