Trump: This Was Not a Campaign, It Was a Movement

With a thumbs up to his crowd at Trump Tower in New York City, Donald Trump said Hillary Clinton had called to congratulate him on his presidential election victory. He said he returned the favor by congratulating her on a hard fought campaign.

"We owe her a debt for service to our country," he said. "Now it's time for America to bind the wounds of division. It is time for us to come together as one united people. I pledge to every citizen that I will be president for all Americans."

"Ours was not a campaign, but an incredible and great movement," he continued. "A movement who expects the government to serve the people. The forgotten men and women of our country are going to be forgotten no longer."

As for his plans for the country, he pledged to "double our growth and have the strongest economy anywhere in the world."

"Nothing we want for our future is beyond our reach," he said. "America will settle for nothing but the best."

For his win, he thanked his parents who are "looking down" on him right now, his sisters, his brothers, his wife Melania, and his children.
