New PETA Campaign Urges Vegans to 'Go All the Way,' Uses 16-Year-Old as Poster Child

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals has staged controversial campaigns before to spread its anti-meat message, and its new “Vegans Go All the Way” campaign is no exception. The animal rights organization's most recent ads may not be as graphic as some they've released in the past, but this time they're promoting their sexually suggestive campaign with an unlikely representative – a teenager.

PETA’s newest spokesperson is sixteen-year old singer-songwriter Samia Najimy Finnerty, who shared why she felt compelled to lend both her face and voice to the campaign. “You just feel better when you’re not eating meat…No other animal in the wild mass produces other animals and tortures them the way we do in slaughterhouses and factories.”

The “Go All the Way” ads, according to PETA’s website, will be aimed at teens and displayed in conjunction with Finnerty’s concerts.

Perhaps significant is the fact Finnerty is the daughter of actress Kathy Najimy, who won PETA’s Humanitarian of the Year Award back in 1999 and is apparently pro-life when it comes to baby elephants, but not baby humans.

PETA’s provocative campaigns are matched by its shameful history of placing animals' rights above people's rights. If you see one of their newest posters, do yourself a favor and ‘go all the way’ to the trash bin to place it where it belongs.
