Former Mizzou Professor Melissa Click Hired At Gonzaga

Melissa Click has found a new gig: she's been hired as a lecturer at Gonzaga University in a non-tenure track position in the school's communications studies department. Gonzaga University is a Jesuit school in Spokane, Washington.

Click was fired from her position as an assistant professor at the University of Missouri after she assaulted a student attempting to photograph an on-campus protest and attempted to rally up a mob to prevent the student photographer from taking pictures.

Videos also surfaced of Click uttering profanities at police officers. She attempted to appeal her firing, and at one point even referred to herself as an academic martyr.

Officials from Gonzaga say that they are fully aware of Click's past and are not concerned about her presence at the university. In a statement, the school said that they were impressed with her recommendations and hope that she has learned from her experiences at Mizzou.

Let's hope they're correct.
