Actor George Clooney hosted a fundraising dinner for Hillary Clinton that raised a cool $15 million for the candidate. In an interview with "Meet the Press" Clooney said that this was "obscene" and that having that amount of money in politics is "obscene."
Quick, someone tell Clooney that he's part of the problem and that he's by no means obligated to raise $15 million for a candidate.
Free Beacon's Stephen Gutowski made an excellent point as well:
Guy who gets paid tens of millions to recite on camera things that other people write thinks money in politics is obscene— Stephen Gutowski (@StephenGutowski) April 18, 2016
