UPDATE II:

Fox News has declared Illinois for Hillary Clinton in what was a very tight election.

Original Post

Illinois voters head to the polls today in open primaries. The polls close at 7:00 p.m. local (Central) time, and there are 69 Republican delegates and 182 Democratic delegates at stake tonight.

If the polling out of Illinois is accurate, we could be in for an interesting night for both elections. While early polls had Donald Trump with a massive lead, other, more recent, polls have shown his support has been waning, with Ted Cruz in a solid second. One poll had Cruz within the margin of error. On the Democrat side, it's anyone's game as polls are all over the place and the race is effectively a tie. Plus, as Clinton learned with Michigan, polls are not infallible.

Stay tuned for what's sure to be an exciting night! Results for both elections can be found here.
