A coalition of states filed a lawsuit to keep the blueprints from being released on Aug. 1. A judge issued a temporary restraining order, which halted Wilson's plans. But what exactly do these 3-D printed guns look like and how do they function?

One Facebook user decided to put a 3-D printed gun to the test to see exactly how it functioned and if Democrats' concerns were justified.

And this is what Democrats are getting so worked up about? This is what they're SO afraid of?

Cody Wilson's case isn't about guns or the Second Amendment at all. His case is about the First Amendment and the whether or not a person can share their intellectual property.

Remember: the First and Second Amendments are tied together. Without one the other would cease to exist.
